Sam was the founder and leader of the Student Volunteer Army in Christchurch. Sam’s efforts in aiding the clean up following both the September 2010 and February 2011 Earthquakes and rallying his volunteer teams, (as well as his contribution to Japan ) were very inspiring.
He won the prestigious 2011 Kiwibank Young New Zealander of the Year Award and is definitely one of our future leaders. He is Â completing his university studies,is a United Nations resilient city advocate and actively involved in his Â â€œMinistry of Awesomeâ€ project.
Sam is very personable, articulate and well informed. He speaks with passion and has wide appeal with all types of audiences.
